The boat pictured is a Challenger Super V28,

and is a "splash" off the original Cigarette 28 from the early 80's.  It was manufactured in 1994 at Grand Rapids, Michigan.  The boat was rigged by Jon Simpson and company with control tests by Jim Agles of Peoria.  During the mid 90's Jim ran a race version at many of the US Offshore and APBA event all over the United States.  These races were covered by Capt. Bill Novich owner of "The Racers Edge"
